Mission:The mission of the West Kentucky Special Education Cooperative is to provide leadership that educationally empowers professionals and parents to meet the unique needs of ALL students. Beliefs:The staff of the West Kentucky Special Education Cooperative believe: | Individual student needs should be the primary focus in assessment and design of programming and support services, utilizing diverse and unbiased information; | | As much as possible, services should be provided in an environment familiar/accessible to the student, family, and school personnel; | | All students should be included in the total educational environment, as much as possible; | | In the demonstration of best practices meeting educational needs which will benefit all students, and | | In providing timely and high quality training and technical assistance. |
