Did you miss the Grant Writing 101 training? Would you like to bring a grant writing training session to your district?

The West Kentucky Educational Cooperative's Consortium for Innovations in Education presents Grant Writing Basics mobile session. As a service to CIE member districts, Todd Warren will come to your district and present a 3-hour training on the basics of grant writing, during or after school. This training is perfect for district personnel who are interested in writing small classroom grants to those who are tackling large state or federal proposals.

A tentative schedule of the training includes the following topics:

  • When and when not to write a grant
  • How to find appropriate resources
  • Understanding the selection criteria within a grant proposal
  • How to express the need and objectives
  • Designing an evaluation plan that fits
  • Creating a budget that will tell a story

CIE will provide this training free to all CIE member districts. CIE member districts include Ballard County, Carlisle County, Crittendon County, Dawson Springs Independent, Fulton County, Fulton Independent, Graves County, Hickman County, Livingston County, Mayfield Independent, McLean County, Paducah Independent, Union County, and Webster County.
